From his roots in a small Derbyshire village, Jonny Awsum has stumbled into the bright lights of comedy venues around the UK - and fortunately people are laughing! With his likeable style and trusty guitar, Jonny's musings take in everything from the stadium banter of Jon Bon Jovi to the perils of climbing scaffolding after eight hours in the pub.

In his first year Jonny has performed well over 100 shows at venues all over the country, including Jongleurs and The Glee Club. He has also won the Magners Funhouse Comedy gong show, the Comedy Cafe new acts night and appeared in a sell-out run of 'Playtime' at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Jonny has just been cast in an Austrian TV commercial and is now proud to be the public face of Puntigamer beer! Other corporate work includes hosting for Harley Davidson and Freixenet and fronting the main stage at the Silverstone Classic.
