Did a bit of filming yesterday which was a top laugh and today I have finished for Christmas (woo hoo!). My next event will be this. HUGE thanks to everybody who has helped me this year, have a great Christmas and I'll see you in 2010!Thursday 17th December
I was speaking to Tadgh the bar manager at The Met Bar after the show last night and he said "I don't normally like Christmas all that much, but after that I feel really festive!" and I think that is a good example of how the Jonny Awsum Show Christmas special went!We had four top acts and a room full of people and together we cranked the atmosphere up to 11! highlights included about fifty people on stage at the end to sing Band Aid - including England goal keeper Paul Robinson! Jonny playing Kirsty Maccoll in a dress and wig to sing Fairytale of New York with Neil from The Misers and a very racous version of '12 Days of Christmas' that had the whole room leaping out of their seats when their number was called!
It's been a great year on the show and we will be back in 2010 on Jan 20th...see you then!!

This Thursday 5th (and every Thursday) at 7pm I will be hosting my crazy quiz show 'Wacabonkers' at Punk in Soho. Click here to watch footage from the event and find out more.
On Friday 6th I will be hosting a very special music quiz at The Met Bar in Mayfair. It's called 'I Remember The 80s' and it will be a nostalgia fest! Click here to see the flyer.

On Aug 2nd it's the first birthday of Bring Your Parents' Records and we're having a big party at Bar Vinyl in Camden. As well as the usual mayhem we are doing a special 'Sing Your Parents' Records' feature which will see bands playing covers of their Parents' records. The main event though were 'The Munroes' who literally rocked the house and it was great to see Robert back on stage with a new line up - well done guys! On Sunday March 1st from 3pm, I will be hosting 'Bring Your Parents' Records' at Bar Vinyl in Camden. It's a special one because we are doing it with 'Bloody Awful Poetry'. Click here for flyer
On Monday 16th March from 8pm, I will be hosting a new weekly quiz at 'Punk' in Soho. It's part of a new night called 'Bite' and I'm calling my bit 'The Jonny Awsum Bucks Fizz Quiz!' - Heat Magazine sponsors it and it's going to be great.
On Wednesday 18th, I will be launching 'The Jonny Awsum Show' at The Met Bar in Mayfair. This exciting live show will happen once a month and be jam-packed with comedy, music, games and chat. Open to members of The Met Bar and guests - if you are interested in attending drop me a line.
